We are Marshall è un film drammatico sportivo americano del 2006
di McG con Matthew McConaughey, Matthew Fox. Il film è tratto da una storia vera e racconta la drammatica storia che accadde nel novembre del 1970 ai componenti della squadra di football di Huntington. In volo per spostarsi il loro aereo ha un guasto e precipita uccidendo sul colpo tutti. Un tragedia umana e sportiva che investe non solo la cittadina ma l’intera comunità. Spetterà al prossimo coach provare a riunire le persone e riportare nei loro cuori un sogno e una passione. Questo compito sarà coperto da Jack Lengyel, un giovane e caparbio allenatore, che avrà il difficile compito di rifondare tutto l’ambiente.
